Explain SSL and TLS

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
It scrambles data in transit using encryption techniques to keep any sensitive data exchanged between a client and a server secure. By keeping the Internet connection safe, helps prevent hackers from accessing any data, such as credit card numbers and personal and other financial information.

Transport Layer Security (TLS)
TLS is the SSL’s successor. It is an enhanced version protocol that protects data transport in the same way as SSL does. TLS and SSL, on the other hand, are frequently used in tandem to improve security.
