We’ll need source data, target tables, and the transformations we’ll need to conduct ETL operations. Informatica’s Target Designer allows us to build target tables and edit existing target definitions.
Flat files, relational databases, XML definitions, Excel spreadsheets, and other sources can all be used to import target definitions.
To access Target Designer, go to the Tools menu and pick Target Designer from the drop-down menu.
