Compare massive parallel processing with symmetric multiprocessing

Many processors are present in the same chassis in large parallel processing. There are multiple processors sharing the same hardware resources in symmetric multiprocessing. Because there is no aspect between the multiple computers, massive parallel processing is referred to as “shared nothing.” It’s also quicker than symmetric multiprocessing.
