What is the minimum score for getting a call in BABY IIMs?

WHAT ARE BABY IIMS?

All of the baby IIMs use the same admissions process to select candidates (CAP). The BABY IIMS are the following:

  1. IIM Bodh Gaya
  2. IIM Sirmaur
  3. IIM Sambalpur
  4. IIM Jammu

SECTIONAL AND OVERALL CUTOFFS

  • A candidate must have a minimum overall percentile score of 93 and a minimum percentile score of 70 in each section. An OBC (Non-Creamy) and economically disadvantaged section candidate should have a minimum overall percentile of 74 and a percentile score of 50 in each section.

  • An SC applicant must have a minimum percentile of 54 overall and 35 in each section. A candidate from a minority (ST) or with a disability (DAP) should have an overall percentile score of at least 40 and a section percentile score of at least 27.

This does not, however, guarantee a spot on the interview shortlist. However, these baby IIMs select candidates based on a percentile score that is significantly lower than the minimum criteria set by the Common Admission Process (CAP). This is because students sometimes prefer to study at well-established non-IIMs.
