The average and median salaries offered to MBA-IB students at IIFT increased in 2021.
This year, 117 organizations participated in the IIFT final placement process, including notable firms such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Hindustan Unilever, L’Oreal, HSBC, Microsoft, and Tata Steel. This year, the most preferred domain to work in for the MBA-IB batch at IIFT was sales and marketing.

- The highest salary at IIFT was INR 46.45 lakhs, which was the same as the highest domestic income offered the previous year.
- The average salary was INR 21.08 lakhs, a 3% rise over the previous year.
- The median salary offered was INR 20.00 lakhs, an increase of 10% over the previous year.
- Sales and marketing roles were chosen by 24 percent of IIFT’s MBA-IB class of 2021, consulting roles by 22 percent, and finance roles by another 22 percent, making these three areas the most sought-after in the final placements process.
- The top 10% of salary provided to IIFT’s MBA-IB class of 2021 was INR 29.14 lakhs on average.
