Based on filters, row-level security limits the data that a user may see and access. Users may establish rules and roles in Power BI Desktop and upload them to Power BI Service to configure row-level security. The username() function may also be used in conjunction with table relationships to limit data to the current user. A Power BI Pro membership account is necessary to enable row-level security, and Excel sheets can only be utilised after being converted to the.pbix file format.
