LOD in Tableau.

The level of Detail expressions is LOD expressions which allow us to compute values at the data source level and the visualization level. LOD is used to run complex queries involving many dimensions at the data source level instead of bringing all the data to Tableau interface. Eg: adding dimension to an already calculated aggregate value.
