Computational linguistics is sub branch of Linguistics ,area of computer science. It is a deep study of symantic analysis of any language. The language is processed through either text or speech. We can also call Computational linguistics as Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Natural Language Understanding (NLU). Speech Recognition is an application.
