What questions are asked in a typical MBA interview?

QUESTIONS ASKED ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  1. Some of the most common questions asked in interviews for various MBA schools are:

  3. Explain why you want to pursue an MBA.
  4. Do you want to pursue a career in finance, marketing, operations, or human resources?
  5. Why did you choose this specialization, and how does it relate to your interests?
  6. What are your long-term and short-term objectives?
  7. Tell us about your interests and hobbies.
  8. What were the most memorable aspects of your work experience?
  9. What were the most memorable moments of your graduation?
  10. Why do you want to be admitted to this college?
  11. Why should you be chosen over the other interviewees, and what difference will you be able to make if admitted?
  12. What was your favorite graduation subject? (Be prepared for the interview panel to grill you on those topics.) They may not always give you a choice and may ask you questions at random. Prepare ahead of time.

These are some of the additional common questions, But the important thing is to be confident and answer any question that comes your way. Be prepared for some GK questions as well. It is pretty common to ask one or two current affairs questions in interviews.
