What are your Long Term and Short term Goals?

HOW SHOULD ONE ANSWER?
Emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and material goals are some of the areas in which a candidate may set long-term or short-term goals. When the panel asks you questions along these lines, it demonstrates their interest in you.

WHAT COUNTS ?
The ability to know yourself inside and out is essential for answering this question well. Without self-awareness, one cannot set goals. One should identify his or her ambitions and aspirations, likes and dislikes, and wants and desires. It is impossible to have well-defined goals without proper clarity on these issues.

LONG TERM
Setting short-term goals isn’t about getting a good job, and long-term career goals are much more than being a C-level executive.

SHORT TERM
When discussing short-term career goals, one should discuss increasing his productivity as an employee by learning new skills and eventually taking on the responsibility of executing a major project. On a long-term basis, it is preferable if the candidate discusses his ambitions to effect change and improve one’s life.
