Tips and Tricks
Language skills, vocabulary, English grammar, and reading comprehension are the four elements of any language comprehension test. To prepare these, a variety of strategies must be applied.
• Get a head start on improving your vocabulary and reading comprehension by starting early. For more than an hour each day, read newspapers, books, and a variety of novels.
• Make a list of uncommon words, phrases, and phrases that you come across while reading to learn more about their meanings, contexts, and applications.
• In your spare time, try your hand at crossword puzzles and word games. This will assist you in expanding your English vocabulary in a fun way.
• An etymological understanding of the core concept can be used to infer vocabulary. You may understand phrases like eloquence, loquacious, monologue, ventriloquize, circumlocution, granloquent, and magniloquent if you know the Latin definition of loqui.
• Recognize and recall how to utilize prefixes and suffixes. This is quite beneficial in learning how to use words.
• Study grammar topics one at a time to better understand concepts and their applications. Practice the sample questions after you’ve finished the topic to see how well you understand it.
• For thorough CMAT preparation, practice a series of practice examinations and sample questions verbally and in reading comprehension. The more para jumble questions you solve, the better you will get.
• You can only successfully answer para jumbles, entire sentences, rearrangements, and reading comprehension problems if you are conversant in English. You should be able to decipher the major argument and understand the underlying meaning.
• When reading data-driven RC chapters, take notes on relevant points. Read the abstract passages in sections if possible.
• Make a mental note of words like “but,” “but,” “yet,” “but,” and “instead.” These have the potential to affect the entire debate of passages.
• Literature, art and culture, economics, science, history, philosophy, sociology, or geography are common RC passes for CMAT exams. After reading these subjects, you can use CMAT2022 to finish the RC passage.
• Finally, take a couple more CMAT practice tests and practice, practice, practice. You have a limited amount of time to read, comprehend, and respond to questions. Practice exam practice will help you master exam time management.
