SECTIONAL AND OVERALL CUTOFFS

  1. A general student must have a minimum percentile of 85, with 75 percentiles in each section, to be admitted to IIM Kozhikode.

  2. A (Non-creamy and Economically Weaker Section)OBC candidate should have a minimum overall percentile of 75 and a sectional percentile of 65.

  3. The minimum percentage in classes 10th and 12th for both general and OBC candidates is 60.

  4. The minimum percentile required for an SC candidate is 65 overall and 55 in each section. He/she should also have a minimum of 55% in 10th and 12th grades.

  5. A candidate from a minority(ST) or a person with a disability(PWD) should score at least 55 percentile overall and 45 percentile in each section. He/she should also have a minimum of 55% in 10th and 12th grades.

This, however, does not guarantee a place on the shortlist for the interview round. When shortlisting for the second round, they give the CAT score 45 percent weightage, 25 percent weightage to class 10 scores, and 15 percent weightage to class 12 scores. Work experience is given a 5% weightage, and diversity is given a 10% weightage.
