How to deal with job uncertainty?

If you see that job is uncertain then you should upgrade yourself. You should learn number of skills. Keep on doing certification so that you are always the first choice of organization. You should complete the given task on time so that if the organization you work in want to lay off some individuals, you are not one of them

If it really bothers you, you might have to break out the paper and pencil and list why you feel your position is so tenuous. That might give you a place to start in repairing any broken relationships, past poor performance, etc. These are things you can control, and as Jesse says below, do your best to start squirrelling away some money in the event the current job ends. If you are worried about the stability of the company…pinch those pennies and start looking ASAP! It’s always better to find a job when you have one than when you don’t. Good luck!

  1. Stop worrying about uncertainty. Sometimes it’s best not thought about every day.
  2. Prepare strong for the job market.
    i. Have at least one skill, and keep honing it, that will give you a job to survive even in recession.
ii. Have a know about diverse skills (master of one and jack of all kind), so you can always fill in where you’re not the best but there isn’t anyone available
  3. Cut down your living expenses (invest the remaining). This will drastically bring down your stress level.
