Though it may be tempting to jump right in and start writing a blog without much thinking, the only way to ensure that your content marketing is successful is to plan ahead of time. All of your work spent generating content will be lost if you don’t have a clear plan in place.
To begin, figure out who your target audience is. Create a consumer persona for whom your material is intended. Then, depending on that character and your company’s brand image, choose your company’s voice and content type. To reach your target audience, your material must be both educational and helpful, as well as intriguing and engaging. And, after you start creating content, you’ll want to keep modifying your plan based on how effective each article is.
