Dress Code for MBA interviews

A student is expected to walk around in formal attire. Typically, institutes do not issue any official guidelines regarding student dress codes. However, it is a given that a student interested in pursuing a professional curriculum, particularly in management, must have a strong understanding of how to carry himself or herself. Any professional must present himself correctly. How one conducts himself will have a significant impact on whether or not he wins business for the company. Men should wear a formal full-sleeved shirt, trousers, black shoes, a tie, and a blazer. The color scheme should exude professionalism and sincerity. Women are also expected to support a professional appearance by wearing their hair back. When engaging in physical activity, the shoes should be well polished. The interviewee must wear colors that are appropriate for the occasion. The design should be simple, with no unnecessary or inappropriate elements. The way you carry yourself will have an impact on the perception that the panel has of you and can mean the difference between you passing or failing the interview.
