An instream ad that is 60 seconds approx is using the CPV bidding method. How the CPV for the ads is charged?
Normally, the CPV is calculated by dividing the total advertising costs by the number of views. In CPV bidding method, a view is counted when a viewer watches a minimum of 30 seconds of the video ad or interacts with the ad, whichever comes first. Hence the CPV for the ad is charged only if the viewer watches the video for at least 30 seconds.
